Nexus Special Interests Limited have pulled out of their Modellers' Protection Insurance, with immediate effect.

Nexus have been forced into this positon because of legisiative changes. From now on only authorised, registered members of the General Insurance Council will be able to issue insurance services. Nexus have said however, that all current policies in place through their current brokers, HCF will continue to run until they expire.

For anyone wishing to renew or take out new policies Nexus suggest that your use the specialist brokers Walker Midgley Insurance Brokers Ltd. Nexus say that this company has years of experience in providing insurance for individual modellers. They also go on to say that this company is owned by Tony Wood, an active modeller himself and a leading figure in the Northern Association of Model Engineers.
